University Hospitals Aintree, Liverpool.
Comments from the Hospital Staff.
We have had Reiki treatment provided by members of O.P.E.R.A. on Ward 2 for 18 months.
Ward 2 is a specialised upper gastrointestinal and hepatrobiliary ward, which deals with patients during various stages of their illness. The feedback from patients who have had Reiki treatments has been overwhelmingly positive and has become a regular part of our team on Ward 2.
In addition, the Reiki therapists have also provided set times and days for treatments for staff with the division, again the feedback was positive.
This additional complementary therapy is much appreciated by the staff and patients on Ward 2.

Your team are very professional in their approach and were able to put the patients at ease, which enabled the individuals to willingly participate in a relaxed atmosphere. All the patients and staff found Exercise, Massage and Reflexology sessions to be very informative and helpful with most wanting to continue with the therapies.
